Yes what can I say - my work marathon walks slowly to the end and so I can enjoy in a week again one day. I had worked for almost a month without interruption, which I do not really seemed that bad. Tomorrow and after tomorrow I will for the last time at the checkout stand at McDonalds before I finish then this chapter.

With this article I describe you my working life as a dishwasher at Café Brio. Starting work for me is always 17h, except on Fridays, because I have only ran by 6. I cross mostly already on 15minutes earlier to later not to get in trouble. First, obviously moved. My T-shirt and jeans, which I have on land, after the last working day in the garbage. Which are not always clean. Nachm first move the cardboard boxes be broken down and managed to get out. After that we drove to my workplace.

He's always been cluttered with pots and kitchen utensils, as the cooks start working as early as 14/15Uhr. It is chilling music and I start to aufzuwaschen everything. 17.30h against then goes out the music and the light is insulated. The restaurant is now open. On stressful days (Friday / Saturday and sometimes Monday) come first orders against 17.45Uhr inside ... otherwise accessible to 18.15Uhr. I spute, aufzuwaschen largely of everything. It should never stop my dishwasher. I think a wash is 40 seconds.

Then I make myself right back to work again the great mountain to work. Everything must be put back in place and the glasses back to the bar. At the end, brought out the garbage, swept and mopped eventually. It's always amazing how long it all drags on. I usually work until about 00:30. Sometimes longer, sometimes shorter;). I'll be the last of the restaurant. After work, I treat myself to always have a fresh draft beer at the bar before I turn then all the lights, activate the alarm code, and finally leave the restaurant.

Personal Conclusion: The work is sometimes very stressful and hectic. But the good working climate, good earnings, the great food and beer after doing the work at Café Brio in a positive experience;)

The trip preparations are in full swing. A few things I was able to Execute but the to-do list still has plenty of points still to be done. Fortunately, I have so that 3 weeks time.

Furthermore, since a week a good old friend is here. The Florian - I'm with him then flown to Vancouver and we traveled together with Jonas to Banff. The end of September then parted our ways and it did well but after half a year to see again. Everyone had to report of course a lot and we were like two grandpas in part on the bank to talk about the last 9 months and how they changed our lives.

March is almost back around and Hannah is still working as stupid. Really bother me but that does not yet and also is indeed a End in sight. At 1.4 (no April joke) I will have my last shift at McDonalds. I will then only for about 17 days as a dishwasher to operate and then goes off well worth the trip. And that is exactly my biggest problem. Sleep and work take a lot of time on the day and then only stay a few hours a day, to plan the big trip. A thousand questions come to it. Where should it go long? How much money is needed? How is travel? Flights must be booked? Adjusts the left sock to the left? What must be purchased new for things? What items can be sorted out and which take the way home? Currently I have 3 pieces of luggage at the start. One too much if you ask me, and therefore is a package deal done, which includes laptop bag and of course other things. In the end I'll be traveling with my gr0ßen and small backpack. And there is much to clarify more questions!

Everything not easy but I'm busy here to answer all these questions to you, then present the solutions:)

Fortuna is very kind to me and so did the March again positive changes. Changes that address my work situation. Since Tobi now Victoria leaves and moves on, he was asked by his colleagues if he does not know anyone who wants to take over his job. This is a job washing dishes at Café Brio.



be Now some people think, "NNN, why is he doing the McDonald's much more fun ..?" And I have to give you right. The job is really hard and it is all the time of stress. But I will work with nerve of 17-1am, a delicious meal and a beer after work and earn NEM say about an hour + tips 12Dollar no? But McDonalds is not history, so I'll still 1-2 the week of March to work there, then before I quit. Actually, I always work at McDonalds then if I have another job when free. The March will be very labor intensive with very little days off but that's okay. Still have some before and there still needs to be saved up a little bit;). So do not worry about me, my skin so fast that everything around is not.

Furthermore gabs Friday a big surprise. I am in effect gone to H & R Block, which take care of it that people get their tax returns from 2009 and so on. Actually I had expected 170, but again I get the woman out there has a lot more magic. 385!! I'm not gone out with so nem wide grin. Hehe ^ ^ was probably because I had worked in the Province of Alberta next to the Income Tax and had not received my CPP contributions back. So everything is wonderful magnificent.

four days Road Trip (17.2-20.2)

finally I once again found time to even work up the events of last February. I'll begin here with the 4 days Road trip to Tofino and Nanaimo. As mentioned in the last article, it was after his return from Vancouver straight to bed. Sleep time was not, because the very next day we went out early. After a good breakfast, the more quickly pack your things and then it went off at 9am. The group consisted of Brittnay (Lady of frontdesk), Meike, Nenad, Stefan and me. Brittnay had rented for us a big Ford Aerostar and so we set out to six hours away Tofino. For Canadian relations, a short trip;). In Duncan, we met with Brittnays friends who came along on the trip. It felt great again out of town to get out and enjoy Canada's nature. Fantastic!



To 15h you came in Tofino. The first path led naturally to the beach. Bright sunshine, the Pacific and over 10 ° C - I'm really in Canada? It was then checked into the HI hostel. Wow, that is a really great hostel. Modern kitchen and dining room with sea view. The beds simply fantastic and nothing like the beds at the Ocean Iceland.



When all things were unloaded, we went again to the beach to marvel at my previous best sunset. Otherwise, not much went on that evening. We were too tired of the Olympics and the long drive.



The next day loan Brittnay and her friends from surfboards. Clearly, because the Tofino Surfers Paradise by Canada. We (Nenad, Stefan and I) not only senseless on the beach rumsaßen, we went exploring. It was a fun climb along the cliffs. Of course, we had another damn lucky with the weather and so we could walk around in T-shirt. Simply wonderful. The evening was then allowed to fade away in a bar.

In principle, something like a big playground with bouncy castles etc. The evening we were to spend with a friend of Brittnay. By car, it went deep into the forest. The cottage was not heated, so I had to correct einmurmeln in my sleeping bag, so I was not cold. But I survived habs:) The next morning was glorious, as our breakfast was prepared übern fire.



Bagels, Eggs and Bacon - it was delicious! Thus ended so the 4 days road trip with lots of great experiences. It's really good if you travel with the locals and an increasingly show a bit more. The trip by car was found to be very advantageous because it is much more flexible when it came to breaks. All in all a successful trip and maybe I'll come back again to Tofino.

is now already March. Most of my friends has left Victoria Hostel. This was a great time with the boys a grand finish, we decided on 2.27 jumpen in Nanaimo for equivalent of 20 € bungee go. Height of 45m without clothes we plunged into the depths and I was still icing on the cake as a dip in the river - hui was the cold. there are pictures of this event but they will not be released: D
